Mr. Balakrishnan joined Power Integrations in 1989, serving in a variety of roles before becoming president and COO in April 2001. He was named CEO and appointed to the company's board of directors in January 2002. He was named chairman of the board in 2023. Mr. Balakrishnan has more than 40 years of engineering, marketing and management experience in the semiconductor industry, including product-line management responsibility at National Semiconductor Corporation. He is the chief inventor of several key Power Integrations products and technologies and holds more than 200 U.S. patents. He has received the Discover Award for Technological Innovation as well as a TechAmerica Innovator Award, both in recognition of the environmental benefits of EcoSmart technology.

Mr. Bailey joined Power Integrations in 2004 as vice president of marketing. Prior to joining PI, Mr. Bailey served as vice president of marketing at ChipX, a structured-ASIC company. His earlier experience includes serving as business management and marketing consultant for Sapiential Prime, Inc.., director of sales and business unit manager for 8x8, Inc., application engineering management for IIT, Inc. and design engineering roles with LSI Logic, Inmos, Ltd. and Marconi.

Mr. Balakrishnan joined Power Integrations in 2013 as an engineer in the new-product definition group and subsequently held a succession of technical and management positions in the product development organization. In 2023 he was named director of automotive marketing and product development before being named vice president for high-power gate drivers and automotive in 2024. In his current role, he splits his time between Power Integrations offices in Germany, Switzerland, and corporate headquarters in San Jose, California. Mr. Balakrishnan holds 34 U.S. patents.

Dr. Barsan joined Power Integrations in 2013 as vice president of technology, leading the company’s foundry engineering, technology development and quality organizations. From 2001 to 2013 he was chairman and CEO of Redfern Integrated Optics, Inc., a privately held optoelectronics company. Previously, he served in a succession of engineering-management and technology-development roles at Phaethon Communications, Inc., Cirrus Logic, Inc., Advanced Micro Devices, Cypress Semiconductor, Inc., and Microelectronica.

Mr. Gupta joined Power Integrations in 2020. Previously, he was vice president of operations at Renesas Electronics Corporation and, before that, senior vice president of global operations at Intersil Corporation until its acquisition by Renesas. Earlier, Mr. Gupta was director of worldwide customer quality engineering at Qualcomm. He also spent 16 years at National Semiconductor in wafer fab operations and quality.

Mr. Matthews joined Power Integrations in 1992, managing the company’s European application-engineering group and then its European sales organization. In 2000 he assumed leadership of the company’s product-definition team in San Jose and was then named vice president of product development in 2012. In 2023 he assumed the role of chief technical officer. Prior to joining Power Integrations, Mr. Matthews worked at several electric motor-drive companies and then at Siliconix, where he served in as a motor-control applications specialist. Mr. Matthews holds more than 100 U.S. patents.

Mr. Nayyar joined Power Integrations in 2010 as vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Previously, Mr. Nayyar spent eight years at Applied Biosystems, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of life-sciences products, serving as vice president of finance from 2002 through 2009. From 1990 to 2001, Mr. Nayyar held a succession of financial roles at Quantum Corporation, including vice president of finance for the company's hard-disk-drive and high-end-storage divisions. Prior to joining Quantum, Mr. Nayyar spent five years in the public-accounting field at Ernst and Young. Since 2014 he has served as a director and audit-committee chairman of Smart Global Holdings, Inc.; he was named lead independent director in 2021.

Mr. Saint-Pierre joined Power Integrations in 2002, managing the company’s North American field-application-engineering (FAE) team. He later joined the company’s new product definition (NPD) group, serving as director of the NPD team until being named vice president of product development in 2023. Prior to joining Power Integrations, Mr. Saint-Pierre held various positions in the field of power electronics including FAE roles at multiple semiconductor companies and as a power supply designer at General Electric and Motorola. Mr. Saint-Pierre holds 39 U.S. patents.

Mr. Walker has served as vice president of corporate development and information technology since June 1995. From 1994 to 1995, Mr. Walker served as vice president of Reach Software Corporation. From 1993 to 1994, he was president of Morgan Walker International, a consulting company.

Mr. Yee joined Power Integrations as vice president of worldwide sales in June 2021. Prior to joining PI he was senior vice president of sales at NeoPhotonics Corporation, a supplier of optoelectronic modules and subsystems for high-speed communications networks. Previously, he was vice president of worldwide sales at Atmel Corporation, where he was responsible for $1.4 billion in annual revenues. His earlier experience includes senior sales roles focusing on the Asia-Pacific region at Xilinx Inc. and Memec LLC.
